Whitehouse Labs offers cGMP label adhesion testing services as an adjunct to our container testing services.
Label adhesion testing evaluates product container labeling from distribution to total shelf life by exposure to diverse temperature conditions.
Routine Test Conditions:
- 5 degrees C
- 38 degrees C
- -18 degrees C
- Monitored Room Temperature
Sample Size and Test Period:
The routine sample size quantity comprises ten labeled containers for the each of the environmental conditions listed above for a total sample size of 40 containers. Typical test duration lasts 12 weeks.
The following services are included in all label adhesion studies completed by Whitehouse Labs:
- Draft protocol specific to client requirements (approved prior to commencement of testing)
- All work is completed in our GMP laboratory then witnessed and reviewed by a Quality Assurance Unit team member
- Label adhesion chambers are used specifically for this testing and are monitored using NIST traceable data loggers and calibrated thermometers for daily performance verification
